SARA'S CAST & CREW
Production: P K Murali Dharan,Santha Murali Cast: Aju Varghese, Anna Ben, Siju Wilson, Sunny Wayne Direction: Jude Anthany Joseph

Sara’S is a family drama directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. The film stars Anna Ben, Sunny Wayne and Mallika Sukumaran in lead roles, and is penned by Akshay Hareesh.

The film revolves around the story of an aspiring filmmaker Sara, who is passionate about films and is chasing her dreams. In her run for cinema dreams, she meets Jeevan, a well-settled corporate employee, with whom she ties the knot. When her dream of kicking off to direct her first film comes true, she accidentally faces a life-changing decision, choosing between career and family.

Sara’S stands on its own feet carrying a strong message. It tries to break down the social norms and concepts, spotting the light towards personal choices and understanding towards one of the very important steps in life called parenthood, through some usual yet cute storyline. The film has a very good cinematography and subtle performances from Anna Ben & Sunny Wayne.

Sara’S makes you laugh, think and scrutinize how certain decisions must be taken in life. It is a sweet story that offers a good watch with your family, with some eye candy visuals and wits. Though it has few shortcomings in the second half, it won’t disappoint you and will definitely bring a smile on your face in the end.

Anna Ben has pulled off Sara's role well with her matured performance and must admit, Sunny Wayne's cheerful acting did justice to his role. Mallika Sukumaran as Jeevan’s mom was convincing while Siddique’s supporting role, though had just a few minutes of screen time, was striking.

Nimish Ravi’s cinematography is one of the best parts of the film. The visuals have truly lifted the entire film’s mood, with candy-like colours, serving the film’s winsome appeal. The film was visually pleasing and was able to connect with the audience.

Written by Akshay Hareesh, the film kicks off well and keeps the audience glued to their seats. It has a perfect balance of wits, moving storyline, emotions, and music in the first half. The engagement in the second half might look slow and predictable, but that is natural to a plot like this and nothing major to complain.

Shaan Rahman’s music is another highlight of this film, with some great soundtracks that will definitely be stuck in the ears of many for quite some time.

Jude Anthany Joseph has beautifully steered this film. He has very cleverly brought such a topic into light in a soothing way.

Verdict: Sara'S is an adorable film that holds up a strong social message, Don't Miss
